She was built half a world away, and once worked in Pennsylvania, but now she steams on former New Haven Railroad trackage. She’s Valley Railroad #3025, a Chinese Mikado.
Here is former Nickel Plate Berkshire-type locomotive 765, repainted, renumbered, and modified to resemble its former cousins, the 2-8-4s named Kanawhas by the C&O. The 765/2765 headed up three Fall Foliage excursions through the New River Gorge.
