Chasing Trains in Central Canada, Rivers Sub & Wainwright Sub

The CN Rivers Sub: In two trips we cover about half the Rivers Subdivision, or 150 miles of CN mainline. Our first trip begins west of St. Lazare and follows the Assiniboine River Valley east to Miniota. Our second trip we start at nearly the other end of the sub and head back toward the middle. Beginning in Portage la Prairie we head west for Miniota with plenty of train action stops on the way. Manitoba is a great railfan video adventure. One Hour.

The CN Wainwright Sub: We take our cameras to rugged Alberta. The rail lines are plentiful, but the population and road network are sparse. This subdivision runs from Biggar, Saskatchewan to Edmonton, Alberta. We’ll be primarily be in the Fabyan, Alberta area, home to the large Fabyan Trestle. Highlights include the trestle, Unity, Saskatchewan and Heath and Chauvin, Alberta. One Hour.

Please note: This is a railfan production. There will be more zooms and less polish than you may be used to seeing. There will also be more unusual trains and places than we usually have available to see.
