Join us aboard GCRY 6773, an ALCo FPA4, on its 64 mile run from Williams, Arizona to the Grand Canyon. Filmed on October 1, 1997, but not brought to video until now. At that time GCRY had just began its fall and winter season under diesel operation. You’ll find continuing views in the cab and looking ahead through the windshield as the train traverses piney woods, high desert and the Coconino Canyon where the 2.5% grade up to Grand Canyon Village begins. Natural sound, captured with the video is always present. After the train arrives at the original Grand Canyon station, the train is seen in several line side views as the train returns to Williams. Limited narrated by Danny Harmon. Locations are identified on screen.
