From the film of noted railfan and photographer Carl Franz comes this look at the Western Maryland and B&O railroads in the 1970s. B&O E units power the Capitol Limited and F units head up freights on the B&O main line while we see F units, ALCOs FA units and geeps on the WM. WM units feature both the “Circus” and “Black Whiskers” color schemes.
We also see the Turbo Train! Primarily a look at early diesels, this program also features steam action as excursions on the WM. This is from silent film.
