Prairie Rails, The Great Granger Railroads

America’s Grange Country covers the area between roughly Chicago and the Western Great Lakes and the Rocky Mountains. This program reviews the railroads that served this region from the days of steam to modern times. Many of these railroads have fallen to mergers and abandonment over the years.

Some of the passenger trains seen include The Hiawathas, The 400’s, Burlington Zephyrs and many more. Heavy freight action is seen on all lines plus many very rare subjects.
