The Belt has a wide variety of well maintained classic power, including GP7, GP9, SW9, SW1200, SW1500, MP15, GP38-2, ALCo C-424, S-6 and cow and calf lash-ups. We’ll get to see all motive power classes and the majority of the roster in this video.

We’ll visit the engine terminal and see repair work in the diesel house. We’ll see a lot of foreign power too as the Belt services locomotives for its co-owners. This program includes cab views and short cab rides in a S-6 and SW-1200.

This is vintage mid-nineties footage, shot using nineties equipment. It is not as sharp as programs shot today. Still, these are interesting scenes, many not covered elsewhere, and the narration is informative and top notch.
