In Volume 3 of the Erie Lackawanna, we advance into the 1970s and tour the EL mainline from the west end of Hoboken to the Southern Tier, including operations under Dereco. We’ll view joint operations with the CNJ and the Bangor Portland Branch in the Scranton/Pocono areas and then pursue the slow-paced trains on “The Bloom” from Pittston to Rupert. Finally, we close this Volume with the electric commuter operations from Hoboken to Dover and the Gladstone branch. Narrated with commentary by Mike Bednar.
Matt –
Good coverage in the Southern Tier. Really enjoy the Scranton-Pocono section with CNJ power. Passenger trains are neat, never knew they were so old and lasted so late. Great JP DVD!
