This is vintage nineties footage, shot using nineties equipment. It is not as sharp as programs shot today. Still, these are interesting scenes, many not covered elsewhere, and the narration is informative and top notch.

    Over all…. a good presentation. The UP does a fine job near & in Chicago with it’s latest power at the time of video taping. Nice to see #844 on the move in the video. If anything, I found that clarity & the colour to be sub-standard. But the topic of the video made up for any disappointment.

    With good looking motive power on intermodal trains, The Union Pacific 844 hauling excursions and the 1996 Olympic Relay train featured this is truly the best of Union Pacific in the Midwest.
