20 years ago in January of 2001, the former Lake Superior & Ishpeming Consolidation operated a freight special from Cumberland to Frostburg. Not only that, but there are lots of locations on the line including Cumberland station, the Narrows, Helmstetter’s Curve, Brush Tunnel, & more.
