NOTHING beats the N&W at their peak of perfection in the innocent 40s and 50s… The “Big Three”… the “A”s, the “J”s, and the “Y”s will NEVER be beaten as far as beauty, grace, and might hauling freight and passengers. Don’t miss out on watching in further depth what they were really like in their heyday!

Awesome video! I have most N&W steam videos that have been produced but this one truly surprised me! Very good quality. Sounds are dubbed but they did a decent job most places and some N&W steam sounds are heard.
The really great thing is the coverage of the M’s on the Virginia Creeper and the Huckleberry. Even a GP-9 on the Creeper!
Amazing pacing scenes of the J’s and passenger trains. Even some blue passenger GP-9s and a Wabash corrugated business car. Many shots of the Tennessean with J’s and Southern diesels. Super heavy mainline steam too… the A and Y classes haven’t been forgotten.
There are even sequences to stir the hearts of Virginian fans.
Diesel lovers will like seeing the RS-3 & GP-9 in original paint schemes.
This is the best N&W video I’ve seen! Buy it….you’ll love it!
