In Volume 1, we’ll travel across the tracks of the Missouri Pacific with Green Frog’s professional railroad photographer Rich Scheid. We’ll start at Kansas City Union Station and head east through Lee’s Summit, Pleasant Hill, Warrensburg, Sedalia, Tipton, and California. Then the railroad follows the beautiful Missouri River Valley through Gasconade, Hermann, New Haven, and Washington. Then we’ll travel through the tunnels and rock cuts near Pacific, Eureka, and then to Kirkwood in the western suburbs of St. Louis. Lots of passenger trains as well as freight trains across Missouri.

In part 1 of this 2-part series, there is a good variety of Diesel action in Missouri on road names like Union Pacific, Conrail, Amtrak, Southern Pacific, Chicago & Northwestern, & Norfolk Southern as they travel up & down the MoPac Mainline.
Locations for part 1 contains Downtown Kansas City Missouri with Union Station, Lee’s Summit depot with a little red caboose sitting on display, Pleasant Hill Depot with another caboose on display, Warrensburg Depot, Sedalia depot, Tipton, California MO, Jefferson City Depot, Gasconade River Bridge with speedboats, Hermann Depot, New Haven (Not Connecticut nor Kentucky), Washington MO depot with another caboose on display, Pacific tunnel, Eureka, & ends at the 1893 depot in Kirkwood Curve which is home to the nearby National Museum of Transportation, home to Frisco 1522.
All in all, Pete Youngblood did a fantastic job narrating this program.
