Norfolk Southern thoroughbreds conquer the Allegheny mountains of Pennsylvania, including world famous Horseshoe Curve. Shot in the many moods and colors of Autumn. We begin near Spruce Creek then head west through Union Furnace over the Juniata River to Tyrone.
To get to Altoona we traverse Horseshoe Curve, in its many moods, and then on to the twin bores of Gallitzin Tunnel. Of course it’s Cresson, Lilly, Cassandra, Summer Hill, E. Conemaugh, Johnstown, and the scenic Conemaugh Gorge after that… So sit back and enjoy mountain railroading and fantastic scenery, along with hard working locomotives with helpers, just as the Pennsylvania Railroad intended!
