*In Illinois it’s Heisler #2 at the Silver Creek & Stephenson.
*Near the Indiana – Michigan border, on the Michigan side, is the Little River Railroad and a stable of locomotives, including the smallest Pacific, famous #110.
*Speaking of famous, big Nickel Plate #765 has run throughout the Eastern USA and is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. See her run in Indiana and Michigan.
*Finally it’s the model for the Polar Express, Pere Marquette #1225 with a special “Photo Charter” for us in Michigan.

This recent Railway Productions title features a great variety of steam engines in & around Michigan with one in Illinois.
The segments that appear in order are:
1. Huckleberry Railroad in Flint with Rio Grande 464 & Alaska Railroad 2 as 152 which is referred to a Louisville & Nashville 4-6-2 in Kentucky on a Pete Lerro Special with Potosi & Rio Verde 4 on display
2. Silver Creek & Stephenson in Freeport with Woodburning Heisler 2 that has a cab ride & Go-Pro footage during a Trains Magazine charter
3. Nickel Plate Road 765 on the Indiana Rail Experience in Hudson that was recently shot in July 2023 with Little River 4-6-2 110 & 0-4-0T 1, Plus Jeddo Coal 0-4-0T 85
4. 765 the following October 8th from Pleasant Lake to Hillsdale & back with 110 from Coldwater to Quincy on the same day
And 5. Pere Marquette 1225 that is also on a Pete Lerro Productions Special in January of 2019 like 464 & 2/152 earlier in the show
Mike Armstrong was also on the 152, 464, & 1225 trips.
The Music in the Main Menu by America By Rail Composer Mike Lynch was also used in both the opening to Colorado’s Scenic Train Rides from 2000, & in Conjunction with The Late Greg Scholl for Tennessee Pass & the Royal Gorge Route in 1997.
