The Santa Fe is alive and well and looking great! You’ll see a variety of handsome Santa Fe locomotives, and they look right at home against a scenic backdrop of canyons, gorges, summits and desert. The video quality is excellent, especially considering that it’s now more than thirty years old. And there’s just the right amount of well done, informative narration. This is a nice look back at a bygone era of railroading, and a great addition to any collection.

I cannot tell you how many times that I have watched this video!!! If you love the Santa Fe you will love this!!! Shot during the 1980s I LOVE the classic locomotive lashups in this production that you just cannot see anywhere anymore! Shot in beautiful northern Arizona, this video serves as the perfect archive of train consists at this point in history; no graffitti, classic locomotives and freight cars, with CABOOSES!!! As someone who models the 1980s, I often use this video for modeling research as well.
