This “Spring theme” was shot between March and June 1998 and focuses mainly on Conrail due to its impending absorption Into CSX & NS. Of special Interest are views of Conrail’s Office Car Special, better known as the “Green Weenie” and a trip to the ex-Monongahela Railroad (MGA).
As usual you will see many scenic vistas, tunnels, rivers, and bridges during our fast-paced program. In addition to Conrail, CSX. WBLE, & Union RR make appearances, many with foreign power in their lash-ups. Some of the locations covered are: Elizabeth, Clarksville, Ohio Pyle, Latrobe, Greensburg, Milwood, Connellsville, Johnstown, Wilmerding and many more
