Once again we see the Glory of Pennsylvania Railroad steam! Stunning 16mm film from the 1930s through the 1950s brings us steam action in the form of Pennsy class E-3, K-4, H-9, H10, I-1, M-1 and J-1.
Locations include Buffalo, Oil City, Elizabeth, Philadelphia, Chicago, Indiana, Ohio, the Elmira Branch and of course Altoona and Horseshoe Curve. We’ll also see some diesels and electrics. Action at Elizabeth, New Jersey includes CNJ and B&O.
We have this fantastic 16mm film thanks to John Prophet, Ben T. Young, D.J. Williams, III , Dick Baldwin and Bob Flack. This show includes much color film!
