Pacing! 25 Years Along the High Iron 2 Disc Set

We cover 11 steam locomotives and 34 diesels with these pacing sequences. Over 3 1/2 hours on two DVDs.One of the most exciting things for railfans is pacing; driving alongside as thousands of horsepower of locomotives go about their business. We have included pacing sequences in many of our titles over the years, and after it was suggested by a viewer we have now released a program entirely of pacing. This program was a quarter-century in the making, featuring footage shot from 1986 to 2013.

Highlights include: Missouri Pacific blue SD40-2s and GP38-2s Conrail GP15s and GP30s Southern Railway GP49s Units lettered Missouri Pacific in Union Pacific yellow Illinois Central Gulf and Illinois Central Paducah Rebuilds Illinois Central 6071, the first SD40 ever built Burlington Northern C30-7s and U30Cs An Amtrak F40ph on the River Cities Chessie System, Seaboard System and other CSX predecessors and Modern Amtrak, Canadian National and BNSF power  Disc 2 runs two hours.

Footage is organized in chronological order beginning in 1986. Narration is kept to a minimum, with graphics presenting basic information.

Photographers with Diverging Clear Productions have a combined 98 years experience shooting video in the field, and it took ten months or combing through footage to find the highlights of hundreds of hours of videotape.
