Ohio Regionals 2003

This video shows the trains and operations on the three largest regional railroads operating primarily in the state of Ohio – The Wheeling & Lake Erie, the Ohio Central System, and the Indiana & Ohio.  These three lines have had varying degrees of success dealing with the depression that has gripped the steel industry in Ohio in the past two decades and one, the I&O, is part of the largest shortline system in the country.  And another, the Ohio Central, is widely known by railfans for its steam excursions.  The footage includes 24 hours of action on the joint OC/ W&LE track in the beautiful Conotton Creek valley in southeastern Ohio and 24 hours at the “crossroads of the W&LE” – Spencer, Ohio.  148 minutes.  2 DVD
