Fostoria, Ohio is a fantastic railroad junction and a true hot spot of non-stop freight action. This complex junction has three diamonds and CSX’s Tower F. Three major freight routes cross: 1) The ex-B&O, now CSX, route between Chicago and Cumberland, Maryland 2) The ex-Nickel Plate, now Norfolk Southern, route between Chicago and Buffalo, New York 3) The ex-C&O (Hocking Valley), now CSX, route between Toledo and Columbus, Ohio.
This is vintage nineties footage, shot using nineties equipment. It is not as sharp as programs shot today. Still, these are interesting scenes, many not covered elsewhere, and the narration is informative and top notch.

I love the 2000’s era railroading. A good mix of Conrail motive power, foreign and lots of old motive power not seen any more. Fostoria is an amazing location to watch trains. This video is one that I can watch or just listen to.
