Train wrecks. Railroaders fear the most terrifying and deadly thing that can occur on the rails. Cars and locomotive as large as a modest house and weighing many tons can inflict massive damage and death when they fly through the air or slide uncontrollably across the ground, mowing down and causing major damage to anything in their path.
Cars and engines may burst into flames and even explode. Crew members, passengers, and even bystanders may be injured or killed. Railroads and trains are inherently dangerous and should be treated with the utmost respect and caution.
This video documents the years from 1934 to 2011. Rare film archives, plus our own Green Frog archives, have been searched to bring you this footage.
