On June 17th & 18th, 2012 BKVP set out to record at least 24 hours of action on CSXT’s busy Mohawk Subdivision. This program shows ALL trains during a period of over 26 hours, day and night, with a decent number of 64 trains seen! Most trains are shown in their entirety. All train symbols are identified with on screen graphics which also show time seen and axle count on all freights!

A location close to the action, a steady parade of trains, colorful locomotives from different railroads and a variety of consists — this program has everything you could want in a day (and night) of railfanning. As always, BKVP’s videography is excellent — including the nighttime scenes, which can be difficult to do well. And with the time spent waiting for the next train edited out (even at a hotspot there’s plenty of downtime), you’re left with 100 minutes of great trainwatching!

CSX, UP, BNSF, Amtrak…. etc…. great to see it all at on location. No shortage of trains here. The team who did the videotaping does a nice presentation for us to see. The screen captions tell the story so narration is not needed. A `hotspot` that is worth seeing many times over.
