Railroad action from the Buckeye State, featuring exciting train action along the rails of the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway. W&LE action includes yard switching, locals and road freights that travel throughout scenic eastern Ohio. Much of the W&LE’s diesel power now wears a version of the Rio Grande paint scheme. The W&LE’s connecting railroads are also shown in action including the R.J. Corman Railroad in and around Brewster. There’s plenty of Norfolk Southern and W&LE action at Bellevue; a train action hot spot that sees some 65 trains per day.
You’ll see CSX at Greenwich and some locals and road freights on the Ohio Central Railroad. We wrap up this visit to Ohio with exciting steam and diesel powered passenger trains on the Ohio Central at “Train Festival 2004” in Dennison. There’s something here to interest just about any railfan — road freights, visits to a couple of well-known “hot spots”, switching action, colorful locomotives, interesting consists, steam and passenger trains and more. The W&LE’s Rio Grande-inspired paint scheme is every bit as handsome as it was on the original. And if you’re keeping score, you’ll see nearly two dozen locomotive models along the way. Expect the usual top-notch video and narration from Plets Express. A nice addition to any collection!

This is the only place you can see Rio Grande engines untouched in regular frieght service anymore. A big fan of Plets Express as his videos are put together nicely. Plets Expres really did their research on these productions. I recommend any Plets Videos if you like informative Narration and good picture quality.
