This is the first part of the much anticipated Ed Kuhr films. This is film footage of the C&O, B&O, L&N and WM Railroads prior to their absorption into the Chessie System, and now our CSX.

Here is the second part of the much anticipated Ed Kuhr films. This is action on the Penn Central, Erie-Lackawanna, Delaware & Hudson, N&W, Southern Clinchfield & Vintage Steam Action in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Very rare power including Alco Pa’s and Baldwin Sharks.

In Part 3, we build the famous town of Chama including scratchbuilding the Chama roundhouse and machine shop. We’ll also begin to construct the extension to Gato. Scenery is built around the yard and then along the backdrop and we’ll build some cottonwood trees for our layout.

In Part 2, we cover the building of the complete (HO Scale) Graden Mill. Then the coal pit and ramp to the pit in the Durango Yard. Plus scenery, backdrops and river scenery, and more!

Follow the renovation efforts as the guys survey sites to rework, head into the field to research real scenes, and then plot out practical benchwork, trackwork, wiring, and scenery solutions for Chuck’s and other home layouts too.
