Shot by U.P. native Hal Pantti, local and mainline freights are seen at locations including Kinross, Algoma Jct, Newberry, Seney, Munising and more! SDL-39s, SD24s, GP30s, GP40s, F45s and SD45s take care of the WC’s traffic, and are seen as far back as 1989.

Volumes 1-5 of the series were just awesome, great footage with pro equipment and a consistent narrator (Todd Miller), but then there is Volume 6…
Picture quality has deteriorated, at low volume on the tv, the horns practically blow out blow out your speakers, the rest of the sound is just loud noise, no distinct flat spots or jointed rail are heard, the biggest draw back from this otherwise great series is a different narrator.

Had to schedule a visit to Trout Lake after watching this video. The WC had a characteristic of being big enough to have a lot of variety but small enough to understand in one setting. I think Clear Block Productions was one of the best producers on the market. It is a shame that he didn’t get to produce more videos.
