Two feet of snow came with a blizzard and made the crossing of Washington Hill difficult for the railroad. Shot entirely in the snow, this is a different look at the old Boston & Albany.

Great Conrail action and some of the best snow scenes you’ll find in railfan video — either would make this program worthy of any collection; together they make it a “must have”! The video was shot nearly 30 years ago, at a time when Big Blue still ruled the old Boston & Albany. It’s all snow … much of it the kind of weather that would keep many railfans at home. But Highball Productions ventured out into the heart of it. The videography is top notch … especially given the extreme conditions … and the result is a five-star effort! Thanks, Highball!
