From the film of noted railfan and photographer Carl Franz comes this look at the Western Maryland and B&O railroads in the 1970s. B&O E units power the Capitol Limited and F units head up freights on the B&O main line while we see F units, ALCOs FA units and geeps on the WM. WM units feature both the “Circus” and “Black Whiskers” color schemes.

We also see the Turbo Train! Primarily a look at early diesels, this program also features steam action as excursions on the WM. This is from silent film.

    If classic railroading is what you wan and love, this is for you, Witness the WM and B&O when they were still before the Chessie merger. See all the older hood and new hood diesels of the time.
