Coal isn’t the only traffic moving on the Overland Route, we‘ll also see fast intermodal and the variety of manifest freights.
In Volume 1 of this two part look at the Council Bluffs Sub, we follow the mainline west from Council Bluffs, Iowa to Shelton, Nebraska. A variety of trains keep our cameras busy as we pass through Omaha, Fremont and Columbus on our way to Grand Island and Shelton.
