What could be better — vintage locomotives wearing Guilford’s handsome paint scheme, in a classic New England setting! BKVP covered a lot of territory for this program, and the results are spectacular. The videography is solid, camera angles and locations are creative, and the narration offers useful contemporary and historical information about the line. Two hours of great Guilford action, and a nice addition to any collection.

Throughout June of 2001, there is an incredible variety of mainline freights with GP40s & SD40-2s. Plus there are locations Such as Ayer, Shirley, Leominster, Fitchburg, Wachusett, East Deerfield Yard, the Hoosac Tunnel, and more Yard Action at Rotterdam Junction.

We see the Guilford System between Ayer Jct and Rotterdam Jct during the year when Orange and Grey EMD’s pulled the trains. Filmed after the Conrail breakup we see traffic returning to the line in numerous locations.
