You are on the scene for a day full of trains on the busy BNSF Spokane Subdivision. See the Spokane Sub between the spectacular trestle across Lake Pend Oreille through to Napa Junction in Spokane. We’ll get to see sunrise and sunset at Lake Pend Oreille, the big cut at Granite and the summit of the line at Athol. Trains carry a variety of paint schemes from the Warbonnet, Grinstein Green, Heritage One and the Swoosh paint. There is a lot of action on this line, including coal trains, autoracks, stack trains and manifests.

The scenery is jaw-dropping and the railroading is spectacular; together, they make for a five-star “must have” railfan video. You’ll see a nice variety of BNSF’s pre- and post-merger paint schemes, and the “full day of trains” recording gives the program a feeling of constant change as the lighting ebbs and flows.
