Amtrak, BNSF and Union Pacific all show us action as the trains travel both sides of the mighty Columbia River, which divides Washington and Oregon. This is rugged, highly scenic country, and both railroads put on great displays. Burlington Northern Santa Fe is using some older power, including a number of warbonnets, while UP is using mostly newer power. Big time railroading in big time scenery.
Narration can be turned off/on.

This one was much better then the first one. Peter Crook is a fantastic narrator using his normal voice. plus it helps that he has a nice English accent. I think he over narrated this, but you can turn it off, and what he was saying was insightful just like plets express programs. The high definition camera was nice of course. there was a much better transition between sides of the river and shots were well done. he could have edited some parts better, but it was still a nice show. It still doesn’t hit my perfect mark, like his Crawford hill revisited and Trinchera pass programs do.
