Originally produced by Rail Innovations in either 1999 or 2000, the history portion of this program features clips from other RI titles: Algoma Central-Tracks of the Black Bear from 1989 (Yet to be converted to DVD), Steam Memories of Ontario from 1988, The Last Pushers on Rogers Pass from 1987, Muskoka Railroading from 1998, CP Rail’s Big Alcos from 1992 & one of the rarest titles: the Last days of the Newfoundland Railway from 1988/1989. The majority of this program was a caboose ride from McMillian Yard in Toronto to the Ontario Northland Headquarters in North Bay & return with tons of Commentary by Former CP Rail engineers from the steam years Frank Bunker & Mac Allen.

Did you know that there are other names for Cabooses Like: Hacks, Vans, Crummies, Shacks, & Cabs?

This is one of the Few Rail Innovations titles to be released by Green Frog Productions while the Rest of these titles from the Canadian Video Company are owned by Greg Scholl since 2011 & 2013.
