In Part 2 that was also made in 1999 like part 1, there is more action in the 2 Midwestern States from the silent color & Black & White films of Mr. Harold Nehls on road names like the Milwaukee Road with the end of steam & early diesels from E & F-Units to GP7s with 2433 on an excursion, the North Shore Line with an Electro-Liner, the Chicago elevated subway system, the South Shore Line in Gary Indiana, Illinois Central, Chicago & Northwestern with a presidential train carrying Dwight D. Eisenhower & his wife, plus 4-6-0 number 1400 on the last train from Marshfield to Fond Du Lac (note the green & white wreath on the front knuckle coupler), Nickel Plate Road, Union Pacific with 4-8-4 805, Illinois Terminal with a ride, Pennsylvania, Baltimore & Ohio, New York Central, Rock Island, Great Northern, Burlington, Santa Fe, & even a visit from London & Northeastern Railway 4472 the Flying Scotsman between 1969-1973.

Note: In the first half hour only, this is one of the only railroad video titles that just like the lots & lots of series by Marshall Publishing, & I Love Toy Trains by TM Books & Video, that has music by James Coffey like Legend of the Rails (used in Lots & Lots of Trains 2 & I Love Toy Trains part 9), as well as tons of unidentified instrumental tunes by Jim that one of them was used in a Century of Lionel from 2000 for example. Much later on in the program, the theme song from 3 out of 6 of the Great Trains of the West’s video series by Simitar from 1991 was used: Texas State Railroad, Diesels Diesels Diesels, & Model Railroading.
