Look back on nearly 50 years of the L&N! Our look back begins in 1947 with the GM Train of Tomorrow. Also from the 1940s we’ll also get an E-unit cab ride, see the Humming Bird passenger train, new M1s at Lima and the South Louisville Shops. The 1950s see us a Cincinnati Union Terminal, Louisville Union Station on a M1 Excursion and the L&N Centennial
In the 1960s we see a meet at Sparta, and Owensboro passenger extra, yard action, more from the Louisville area including Union Station, MN Tower and A Street Tower. In the 1970s we take on Bowling Green and the 1990s it’s the L&N Historical Society at Radnor and a South Louisville Farewell.
Special Bonus: Frankfort & Cincinnati Railroad steam and diesel excursions in the 1930s to 1950s, plus F&C railcar M55-1 to the Kentucky Railway Museum in 1960.
