A documentary on the Cincinnati & Lake Erie. This interurban ran from Cincinnati to Columbus and Toledo and while fondly remembered, lasted only 10 years, from 1930 to 1940. Our show has public relations “interurban races” with an airplane and a race car – plus the very rare Walter Druck film of the C&LE and many photos. We also cover remnants of the line still to be seen in 1997, and existing cars saved that can still be seen in Ohio. This is a Telly Award Winner.
