See the Reading & Northern’s flagship train “NRFF”, the North Reading fast freight to Pittston that even runs on a set schedule! You’ll see R&N locals such as the Mountain Job, Hazleton local, Pottsville local to the Yuengling Brewery, Pittston local with the SW8 “Pups” and switching at the Penobscot and Port Clinton yards. Both steam, diesel, and even BUDD cars are featured on the RBM&N’s passenger trains as well as on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. See Reading & Northern 425, a 4-6-2 Pacific that operates on both the Lehigh Gorge trains and day long excursions out of North Reading.
