Rails along the Mississippi River in Wisconsin

This program focuses on the BNSF main close to the eastern banks of the Mississippi River in Wisconsin, from Prescott at the border with Minnesota in the north, to just across the southern state border to Savanna, Illinois. Locations include Trempealeau, Lock & Dam #9, Lynxville, Alma, and dramatic overlooks from Perrot, Wyalusing, and the Mississippi Palisades State Parks, Night scenes are included at La Crosse Amtrak station on the CP track that Crosses the river there into Minnesota. The variety of motive power is provided by BNSF, CP, CSX and NS. All scenes were filmed in October 2013.
