In Walt Berko’s version of the 1985 Pennsylvania railroad Doubleheader, the action begins in the winter as Great Western 2-10-0 number 90 is clearing the snow around the yard.

In addition to the Strasburg Railroad’s own Pennsy Steam Stars: 1223 & 7002, several Conrail Freight Trains, & Amtrak’s Pennsylvanian also appears as well.

Locations aside from the tracks of the Strasburg Railroad Include Leaman Place Junction in Paradise, Dillersville, Columbia, Rockville Bridge in Harrisburg, the Bethlehem Steel Plant, & Lancaster.

After 1223 & 7002 were retired after the 1989 season, they have since been put back on Display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania across the street from the depot. Nowadays, only 0-6-0 number 643 is operating at Williams Grove.

Besides Walter Berko, other producers like Mark 1 Video, & Berkshire Productions were also there for the one day special during June of 1985.
