1 review for Passenger Trains of the 60s

  1. Mwdonoughue

This DVD showcases the last full decade of American passenger trains, as they slowly began their decline, and paved the way for the formation of Amtrak on May 1st, 1971. We see passenger trains in the Northeast, the West and the South.

  2. rickyfreni

With a huge variety of early diesels in their final years of American passenger service before the Official Debut of Amtrak in 1971, this 3 Part set is a neat way to look back at the Twilight years of Streamliners on iron rails while every passenger is now switching to Airplanes & Automobiles. A huge variety of countless Fallen Flag Road names are included as well. Besides the Vintage Cab Units, Electrics from the Milwaukee Road Little Joes to Street cars are included as well as RDC Budd Cars.
