Originally released in 2000, the NKP 765 engineer Rich Melvin tells the history & detail of this unique short line in Southern California in the 3rd largest port in world during the crew’s visit to Los Angeles & Long Beach.

In addition to the pacific harbor belt, various diesels on Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, BNSF, Chicago & Northwestern, & Rio Grande are also featured as well.

Aside from the locomotives which 3 of them looks identical to the Santa Fe’s Zebra stripped diesels, as well as mostly Conrail Switchers, there are Tugboats, & Container Ships on the water, plus some Semi Trucks, as well as birds like seagulls, & a pelican. There is also a visit to the service office, as well as a look at the map of the short line itself. Not to mention a cab ride on both a Hi-rail Truck & number 32, as well as a Sanyo Blimp high in the sky.

Locations include Dominguez, the lift bridges at Badger Pass, Maersk Junction, Pier B Yard near the Toyota car assembly plant, Crucero diamond at Milepost 502, Long Beach Junction near the Alameda Corridor, Wilmington Wye, West Thenard, Mcfarland, Pier A Yard, Water Street, Rio Doce Pasha, Neptune Avenue, John Gibson Boulevard near the Yang Ming facility, Gaffey Street, Vincent Thomas Bridge, 1st Street, & ends at West Wing terminal.
