In the Belt Line version of the second excursion career of the Postwar built J Class Northern itself, 611 makes a huge variety of runbys at locations like downtown Roanoke, Bonsack, The Summit of Blue Ridge, Thaxton, Forest, Villamont, Wabun, Shawsville with a race against a westbound NS Doublestack/Autorack combo, the S Curve & Level Crossing at Friendship Road, Montgomery tunnels on Christiansburg Grade, Crab Creek, The Vickers Coaling Tower, Riverside, Lynchburg, Appomattox, where it meets with a westbound Doublestack, Flood, Crewe, Wellville, Ford, Sutherland, Petersburg as a railfan’s border collie barks for excitement while 611 arrives in town, Blackstone, Green Bay (not a railroad museum in Wisconsin), Abilene (not Kansas), Pamplin, Spout Spring, Eastbrook Trestle, & finally the Strasburg Railroad in Lancaster County Pennsylvania during an N&W reunion with 4-8-0 number 475 as 382 during a Pete Lerro Productions photo freight special.

During the May 2017 trips, the co-creator of the America by Rail collection, Les Jarrett of Railway Productions were also there for 611’s second excursion career as Jarrett’s footages were shown on his 2018 Blu-Ray & DVD title: 611 on Home Rails.
