See the action along the line from Charlotte to Rock Hill in the Carolina’s. Historically, this railroad was completed in 1852 as the five foot gauge Charlotte and South Carolina Railroad. It became part of the Southern in 1892.
We also see a visit from the NS executive office car train pulled by “F” units as they hauled the annual “Augusta Special” to the Masters Golf Tournament. Also included is a brief look at Charlotte’s sleek new “Lynx” light rail trains and stations parallel the NS.
