This important NS line is home to heavy 100 plus car manifest trains loaded with lumber and wood chips, scrap, chemicals, grain and coal. See the action along the line from Charlotte to Rock Hill in the Carolina’s. Historically, this railroad was completed in 1852 as the five foot gauge Charlotte and South Carolina Railroad. It became part of the Southern in 1892.
