It’s a truly unique look at history blended with modern railroading! To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Norfolk Southern painted 20 new locomotives in honor of its predecessor railroads. C. Vision Production’s crews captured all of these spectacular locomotives and in Volume 2, you will see the remaining 10 locomotives traversing Norfolk Southern’s 20,000-mile, 22-state network and beyond.
Twenty-five videographers traveled the country to capture the Conrail, Norfolk and Western, Lehigh Valley, Erie, Central Railroad of New Jersey, Central of Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois Terminal, Penn Central and New York Central.
We will also take a look at Norfolk Southern’s executive F Unit fleet. These classy locomotives not only look great, but they also bring back memories of the railroads that once hauled America’s freight in the eastern United States.

Heritage units are very interesting to see. I have seen a few when travelling in the USA and was very pleased to see them. Part # 2 (Vol. # 2) continues from Vol. # 1 showing 10 of the NS fleet in action in various locations, including NS’s business train being pulled by their F-units. 2 hours of great action of some of the most interesting paint schemes to be found. It is great that the railroads honour their fallen flags in this manner. Excellent show.
