Norfolk Southern ran their Santa Train in Illinois from Decatur to Iliopoulos with Santa aboard for 9 trips over a weekend. 5 round trips on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. The equipment leading the train – Wabash 1189 & CN 6789 – came from the Monticello Railroad Museum, with Norfolk Southern’s Heritage Units 6920 & NS 911 on the other end.
