Mexican Fiesta, Northern Mexico by train and private car

It’s a wild trip, this 3,000 mile tour of Northern Mexico. If you’re going to tour – can there be a better way than by train? And can there be a better way than by a special train with a private car! It is really the only way to see some of these amazing rail sights. See the Grand Staircase of horseshoe curves, west from Duango. Take in olde stock cars loaed, not with stock, but hand-split logs! The “Espinazo del Diablo”, the Devil’s Spine is a 3% grade with fantastic scenery! Cab vies alternate with trackside and then caboose roof views!

Our trip begins aboard the Crescent and the Sunset Limited before we hit Mexico. Mexico is an amazing country with old railroad equipment, new eauipment, old bridges and soaring new structures! Then, it’s private car. Talk with the owner of the car, as he tells us of the trials and trivbulations of the private car bsuinees.
