Four great diesel programs:

Last Streamliners Through The Rockies

The concept for this program began with two 16mm color films – one film is the last run of the “Royal Gorge” passenger train

Western Rails

Western Rails includes a great variety of places and railroads. You will see Kansas City Southern on the Mississippi River Bridge at Burlington, Iowa then head west through Kansas. In Kansas we see action around Abilene, and then along the Santa Fe line with now removed semaphore signals at Syracuse, with Amtrak. Then continue to La Junta, and Lamy, New Mexico for western flavor before heading to Colorado where we see action on Tennessee Pass.

Illinois Junctions

Illinois Junctions is a variety program showing several rural Hotspots in eastern Illinois. This is a nice variety-filled program with tons of trains, at various locations.

Rochelle Double Track Diamonds

Our visit to Rochelle shows big-time, mainline railroading at this Illinois town west of Chicago. It’s the hot mainline for Union Pacific trains headed west over the former Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, and the BNSF over the former Burlington Route toward Minneapolis and points west. With two camera crews we won’t miss a single train, and in many cases you will see two shots of the same train from different positions. In addition to all the mainline freight action, we also see some track work being done on the diamonds, including some track equipment. An unexpected guest is the Loram Rail Grinder.

Well There Are 3 Days of shooting as the program said. Chapter 1: August 2008, Chapter 2: May 9th 2009, & May 23 2010. All of these segments have fully recorded sound but blooper/mistake in the paragraph going on. Greg said that the May 16, 2010 footage was at Deshler, but it was actually still Marion a week before the May 23rd visit. Turns out that Greg’s camera’s microphone’s battery is either going dead or refusing to co-operate with him. There are 4 musical pieces in the Bonus broken sound day segment, but the only sound that you’ll hear during the musical background is either the horns of the locomotives, as well as the wheels crossing the diamonds. For Previews however, there are 3 Widescreen related shows Which are: Deshler Mainline Crossroads, Riding the Alberta Prairie, & L&N 152 Pride of Kentucky.
