Lone Star Railroads

Our fourth visit to Texas, the Lone Star State, focuses on railroads to the North and South of Fort Worth. Locations to the North include Denton, Argyle, Ponder, and Keller. In Fort Worth we visit the UP Davidson Yard, see the Fort Worth and Western switching customer sidings, view Amtrak and Trinity Rail Express passenger trains at the Intermodal Transportation Center and visit the busy rail junction at Saginaw. To the South, vantage points include Cleburne, Kopperl, Meridian, Clifton, Valley Mills, and McGregor. Twenty-eight locomotive types are featured belonging to twelve railroads plus leasing companies, in the varied landscape in this area of Texas. To add to your viewing enjoyment, this program includes a brief interlude showing three trains in Iowa, including a rather loud CR and IC MP15 mother/slug pair! Many scenes feature two-camera action sequences offering additional views of the passing trains.
