Covering the Lehigh Valley and the D&H, with Contail and Penn Central making appearances, the Kosin collection features Super 8mm railroad films photographed by the late George Naugle of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The collection highlights the Anthracite railroads over the mountains, into the Wyoming Valley and beyond in the last few years of operation and into the beginning of Conrail. Many rare Wyoming Valley locations are captured in the Ashley and Wilkes-Barre areas.
Volume 1 covers action just north of White Haven through the Wyoming Valley, with scenes in Sayre, PA. Narrated with commentary by Mike Bednar.

Neat look back at the LV and D&H. Some of these LV clips are from a lot of locations you can go out to today and shoot the Reading and Northern at. While some of the clips are out of focus, backlit or shaky all that matters is Mr Kosin captured this for us to enjoy over 50 years ago. Judging by the previews the quality gets better each volume.

Disappointed with the camera work on a rare location for footage on the LV. Camera zooms in and out of focus and photographer should have maintained better control.
