Made in 1998, this very short MOI video contains an episode of Trackside with Dave Reed as the opening credits feature Southern Pacific Daylight 4449 in 1997, a Freight on Grand Trunk Central Vermont & Canadian National, Union Pacific with E-9s 949, 951, & B-unit 963, Never Retired Northern 844 in June of 1997, a Burlington Northern Freight, & Susquehanna 142.
There are not only trackside scenes of Metra Commuter Rail, but also a cab ride with a meet of an SP freight, Amtrak & other Metra trains, a look at the changing of the wheels for both the coaches & locomotives, a washdown, a diesel refuel, & even interviews with some of the people behind the railroad: BNSF Driver Bill Wareham, former BNSF Manager Jim Zeilmann, & Crewmember Gwen Halbert.
