A constant parade of big new General Electric high tech power through one of the most scenic parts of BNSF’s transcon, Arizona’s Kingman Canyon. This line sees the newest BNSF and GE power. From meets in rare snow to winter sunsets, the action never stops! You’ll see stack train after stack train. We’ll also see some “work windows” and how that affects traffic on this normally single direction line. It means some unusual movements for this portion of the BNSF transcon line. Video shot in February, 2011.

The scenic beauty of Kingman Canyon is awesome, and the videographer does a fine job showing it from different angles. The show opens with a snowy scene taking away the “Arizona” image that most of us know. A great parade of trains travelling in opposite directions with meets is good. However…. no narration or screen graphics to be heard or seen. So, for the railfan… what is going on? After about 10 or 15 minutes….. interest in the video is gone. If not for the interest in the scenery of the region…. I would have turned it off.
